How does a workplace remain relevant when the way people work continues to change?
In the latest Business Record Behind the Design feature, our own Yasmine Killeen discusses the design of Two Rivers Marketing's new East Village office and the challenges of creating a workplace that supports both hybrid flexibility and meaningful in-person collaboration.
Rather than simply reducing square footage, the design focused on making every space work harder. Collaboration areas, meeting spaces, and hospitality zones were designed to serve multiple functions, allowing the office to adapt throughout the day while still supporting company-wide gatherings and events.
The project also celebrates what was already there—exposed brick, heavy timber, and the building's industrial character—creating a workplace that feels authentic to Two Rivers Marketing's culture and the industries they serve.
Thank you to the Business Record for the opportunity to share the story behind the project, and to Two Rivers Marketing for trusting us to help shape their next chapter.
