Beachfront Condo Interior Renovation

This Beachfront Condo presented a unique set of challenges: a peculiar footprint, limited ceiling height, and disjointed interior spaces, all housed in a high-rise built in 1990. The sweeping ocean views offered by every window posed an enticing design challenge. The project's goals were ambitious—introduce a flexible third bedroom or office, revamp the kitchen, convert a balcony into an indoor space, redesign the owner's suite, and upgrade finishes to create a cohesive atmosphere.

Through ingenious design solutions, the renovation achieved spatial fluidity and function. The living, kitchen, and flexible bedroom spaces were opened to each other, with new oak millwork cleverly delineating the areas while incorporating technology and concealing utility stacks. The owner's suite was transformed into a lavish space featuring a semi-circular shower and an oak closet/headboard arrangement.

A consciously restrained material palette was employed to cultivate a sense of cohesion and serenity: warm porcelain tile plank floors are used to unify the spaces and complement the oak millwork. Moreover, the architectural team meticulously curated the artwork and furniture in collaboration with the client, resulting in a space that not only addresses its initial limitations but also elevates the standard for high-rise living.
